4.2.2 Using the emergency stop switches
Emergency stop switch
Four emergency stop switches are provided
for emergencies:
• Press an emergency stop switch (1), (2)
or (3). The switch latches.
The engine shuts down.

If an air intake inhibitor is present, it will be triggered – this also applies to
the engine for crane operation.

Do not operate the emergency stop switch to switch the engine off in nor-
mal operation. Only operate the emergency stop switch in an emergency
situation.
Resetting the
emergency stop
switch
You can restart the engine only after you have reset the emergency stop
switch.
• Switch off the ignition.
• Turn the actuated emergency stop switch until it disengages again.
If air intake inhibitors are fitted, they must be released;
