5.1.1 CHECKLIST: Checks before on-road driving

This checklist is not a complete operating manual. There are accompanying
instructions, which are indicated by cross-references.
Observe the warnings and safety instructions there!
1. If the boom is on the boom rest
– All telescopic sections are interlocked; the telescoping cylinder is
locked with telescopic section

– The slewing gear must be switched off;

– The turntable is also locked;

– The swing-away lattice must be in the rigging position;

– The symbol (1) is displayed (if present); à p. 5 - 9.
2. When the main boom is resting on a trailer
– All telescopic sections must be locked together.
– The slewing gear must be switched off;

– The boom floating position is switched on;

– The slewing gear freewheel is switched on;
à p. 6 - 12.
– The boom pre-tensioning may be switched on;

– The houselock may be switched off;

– The turntable has been unlocked;
