The Analog Input Module (AIM) 6DR4004-6F and -8F is required to connect a Non-Contacting Sensor (NCS) or Position
Transmitter 6DR4004-1ES to -4ES.
For devices without explosion protection, other types of potentiometers with resistance values between 3 and 20 KΩ can be
connected.
