Adjustment
The standard front fork setting is adjusted to suit most high and low speed riding conditions, whether
the vehicle is partially or fully loaded.
However, the setting can be modified for specific needs according to vehicle use.
•
Each fork is equipped with an upper adjustment adjuster (1) to set the rebound damping and
an upper nut (2) to adjust the spring pre-loading.
TO AVOID DAMAGE, DO NOT FORCE THE ADJUSTERS BEYOND THE MAXIMUM SETTING PO-
SITION IN EITHER DIRECTION. SET THE SAME SPRING PRE-LOAD AND HYDRAULIC DAMPING
SETTING FOR BOTH STANCHIONS: RIDING THE VEHICLE WITH DIFFERENT SETTINGS FOR
THE TWO STANCHIONS REDUCES STABILITY. WHEN SPRING PRE-LOAD IS INCREASED, RE-
BOUND DAMPING MUST ALSO BE INCREASED TO PREVENT EXCESSIVE SUSPENSION KICK-
BACK WHEN RIDING.
