Basic Fax Usage
Stamping Sent or Scanned Originals (Stamping Original)
The machine can print a stamp about 1/8" (3mm) in diameter on the front side of scanned or
sent originals. You can set the Stamp mode to differentiate scanned or sent originals.
NOTE
Stamping originals can be set when the Feeder (DADF-H1) is attached.
When sending an original directly, you can set the machine so that the original is stamped either
after it has been sent, or after it has been scanned. (See ‘Setting the Stamping Conditions, on p. 5-
33.)
1
Place your originals in the feeder.
For instructions explaining how to set the original, see ‘Sending an Original,’ on p. 2-7.
2
Make sure the machine is ready to send, and press “Stamp.
A tick appears in the box to the left of “Stamp.
