Using a Memory Box (Memory Box)
Memory boxes are used to store scanned or received documents, and to print and transmit
the stored documents.
IMPORTANT
It is necessary to preset a memory box according to its use, then register the necessary items
including the password, subaddress, and RX password.
NOTE
To set each memory box, press (Additional Functions)
“Custom Fax Settings”
“File
Settings”
“Memory Box Store/Set” in this order. See ‘File Settings, on p. 5-44.
Scanning Originals into a Memory Box
If you use a Batch Sending Memory Box, the original is scanned and stored in the specied
memory box.

Place your originals, and make sure the machine is ready to send
press “Special Features” press “Memory Box.
The Memory Box Select screen is displayed.

Press the memory box number you want to use.
Press "" or " " if the memory box you want to select is not displayed.
