Specifying the Time to Send a Document
(Delayed TX)
The machine’s Delayed Transmission mode allows you to scan documents into memory, and
send them at a later time. This enables you to send faxes during time periods that have lower
telephone rates.
You can reserve up to 64 delayed transmission operations.
NOTE
When a Delayed Transmission is complete, the documents in memory are automatically erased.
You can check the sending status, or cancel the sending of documents scanned and stored in
memory. (See ‘Checking and Changing the Status of Sending Jobs, on p. 4-2.)

Place your originals press “Special Features” press “Delayed
TX.

Enter the time you want the document to be sent, using -
(numeric keys), and press “OK.
Enter the time in 24-hour clock format, as four digits without a space.
(Example: 7:05 a.m. 0705; 11:18 p.m. 2318)
NOTE
If you enter a wrong number, press (Clear), and enter the correct number.
To cancel the Delayed Transmission mode, press “Cancel.
