4.16 Fuses (A Model Beds)
Tools required: T15 Torx®
1
screwdriver
T25 Torx® screwdriver
13 mm socket
Ratchet
Removal
1. Set the brakes.
2. Raise the bed to its highest position.
Unplug the bed from its power source. Failure to do so could cause
personal injury or equipment damage.
3. Unplug the bed from its power source. Let the bed sit for 60 seconds for the
battery to time out.
4. Remove the two screws (A) and washers (B) from the power supply cover
(C) (see figure 4-24 on page 4-52).
5. Remove the cover (C).
6. For AC power fuses (E), do as follows:
a. Remove the fuse cover (D) from the AC power P.C. board (F).
b. Remove the fuses (E).
7. For the battery fuse (I), do as follows:
a. Locate the battery cable (G).
b. Locate the inline fuse holder (H) on the battery cable (G).
c. Open the inline fuse holder (H) by twisting the two halves in opposite
directions.
d. Remove the fuse (I).
Replacement
1. Perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
