3.8 Anti-interference Measures for Electrical Wiring
Takethefollowingmeasurestosuppressinterference:
1. Ensure that the reference input cable is shorter than 3 m, and the encoder cable is shorter than 20 m and
both types of cables are shielded twisted pair.
2. Useathickcableasthegroundingcable.(Recommendedtobemorethan2.0mm

)
3. Dclass(orhigherclass)groundingisrecommended(groundingresistanceisbelow100Ω).
4. Use one-point grounding.
5. Useanoiseltertopreventradiofrequencyinterference.Forahomeapplicationoranapplicationwith
noiseinterference,installthenoiselterontheinputsideofthepowersupplyline.
6. Topreventmalfunctionduetoelectromagneticinterference,takethefollowingmeasures:
a.Installthehostcontrollerandnoiselterasclosetotheservodriveaspossible.
b. Install a surge protection device (SPD) on the relay, solenoid and electromagnetic contactor coils.
c.Thedistancebetweenastrong-currentcableandaweak-currentcablemustbeatleast30cm.Donot
put these cables in the same duct or bundle them together.
d. Do not share the power supply with an electric welder or electrical discharge machine. When the
servodriveisplacednear a high-frequencygenerator, installanoise lter ontheinput side of the
power supply line.
3.8.1 Anti-interference Wiring Example and Grounding
As the servo drive’s main circuit uses "high-speed switch elements", the difference between the peripheral
wiringandgroundingmayresultinnoisefromtheswitch,inuencingthesystem’snormaloperation.Thus,
theservodrivemustbeproperlywiredandgrounded.Anoiseltercanbeaddedifnecessary.
