3.9 Precautions of Using Cables
1. Do not bend or apply tension to cables. The core wire of a signal cable is only 0.2 or 0.3 mm in diameter
andeasilybroken.Handlethecablescarefully.
2. Inscenarioswherecablesneedtobemoved,useexiblecables.Commoncablesareeasilydamaged
afterbeingbentforalongtime.Cablesconguredtogetherwithlowpowerservomotorscannotbeused
for movement.
3. Ifcableprotectionchainisused,makesurethat:
●thebendingradiusofthecablemustbeatleast10timesthediameterofthecable;
●donotxorbundlethecablesinsidethecableprotectionchain.Youcanbundlethematbothendsof
the cable protection chain;
●cablesmustnotbewoundorwarped;
●spacefactorinsidethecableprotectionchainmustnotexceed60%;
●donotmixcablesofgreatdifferenceinsizetogetherasthickcablesmaycrushthincables.Ifyouneed
to use them together, place a spacer plate to separate them.
