4.2.8 Control connections
4.2.8.1 Control cables
l Connect the control cables to the screw terminals:
Max. permissible cable cross-section Tightening torques

l We recommend the unilateral screening of all cables for analog signals to avoid signal
distortion.
l Connect the screens of the control cables
– with the screen sheet to the front metal surface
(screw length max. 12 mm).
4.2.8.2 Control terminal assignment
Protection against polarity reversal
l The protection against polarity reversal prevents the wrong connection of the internal control
inputs. It is however possible to overcome the protection against polarity reversal by applying
great force. The controller cannot be enabled.
