Attaching Paper Feed Unit Type 610
Preparation
When installing multiple options,
install the paper feed unit first.
CAUTION:
Important
❒ Do not slide more than one paper
tray out at the same time. Having
more than one full paper tray fully
extended could cause the machine
to topple.
❒ More than two paper feed units
cannot be attached.
❒ Check the printer nameplate to
confirm the model code.
A Check the package contains the
following:
❖ Paper Feed Unit
(including a paper tray)
B Turn off the power of the printer,
and then unplug the printer's
power cable and the interface ca-
ble.
C Remove the adhesive tape from
the paper feed unit.
Note
❒ If you attach two paper feed
units at the same time, stack
them up in advance.
• The printer weighs about 20 kg
(44.1 lb.). When lifting the ma-
chine, use the inset grips on both
sides. Otherwise the printer
could break or cause injury if
dropped.
