5.6 Installing repair kit for seat occupied rec‐
ognition (vehicles with manually operat‐
ed seats)
Note
♦
When installing, ensure that no wiring harness from the seat
heating system is located between the padding and mat for
seat occupied recognition.
♦
The pressure hose should be routed without kinks.
♦
Adhesive labels on connectors should not be damaged.
♦
Once vehicle has been reconnected to onboard electrical sys‐
tem, check for clearance of components that have been re‐
newed by moving seat position.
After seat occupied recognition has been renewed, a diagnosis
tester must be used that has function “Guided fault finding” to
carry out basic settings of seat occupied recognition system.
