If seat cross member mounting plate threads have been dam‐
aged:
– Replace the affected seat cross member mounting plate
⇒ Body Repairs; Rep. Gr. 51
1.3 Removing and installing left side trim on
seat
Note
Removal and installation is described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
1.3.1 Removing
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 260 .
– Remove bolt -1- (2.5 Nm).
– Using a small screwdriver, press metal tab of fastener -2- in‐
wards and pull handle off -3- from adjustment lever -4-.
