4 Pillar and side trims
4.1 Removing and installing upper A-pillar
trim
Note
Removal and installation is described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
4.1.1 Removing
– Remove dash panel end trim ⇒ page 60 .
– Remove A-pillar centre trims ⇒ page 224
– Remove airbag emblem -1- and remove bolt -2- (4 Nm).
– Pull lower section of trim -arrow A- out of securing clips -3-.
– Release trim from door seal beading.
– Pull trim out of forward mountings -arrow B-.
– Pull rear section of trim out of dash panel -arrow C-.
Note

When reinstalled, airbag emblem -1- must be renewed.

Before installing, check fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.
