crash sensor on front passenger side -
G180- (Golf 2009 ▸)
Note
The side airbag crash sensor on front passenger side -G180- is
installed on the front door assembly carrier.
WARNING
Observe the general safety regulations when working on air‐
bag, belt tensioner and battery isolator units (pyrotechnic com‐
ponents) ⇒ page 90
– Disconnect vehicle battery ⇒ Electrical system; Rep. Gr. 27 ;
Disconnecting and reconnecting battery .
– Remove front door trim:
♦ Vehicles with 2 doors: ⇒ page 212

Removal and installation of the side airbag crash sensor on front
passenger side -G180- is similar to removal and installation of the
side airbag crash sensor on driver side -G179- and the same in‐
structions can therefore be derived from these:
