Note
Removal and installation is described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
1.26.1 Removing
– Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 260 .
– Secure seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove right side trim on seat ⇒ page 276 .
– Remove left side trim on seat ⇒ page 263 .
– Remove front seat backrest ⇒ page 281 .
– Unhook Bowden cable -1- from bracket -2-.
– Unhook eye -3- from pin -4-.
– Unhook Bowden cable -1- from bracket -5-.
– Guide eye of Bowden cable -7- out of bracket -6-.
