8 Principles of Operation

SMPS
The Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) generates low voltages (+5 V and +3.3 V for logic
circuits, +5 V for laser diodes, and +24 V for motors/clutches from AC power provided by the
Fuser Drive Board.
