Command Description

show Displays information about the device and the device's configuration.

speedtest
Perform a speed test.
ssh
SSH login to a remote server.
system
Issues commands related to system functionality.
tail
Tail a file.
telnet
Telnet login to a remote server.
traceroute
Sends and tracks route packets to a destination host.
Note For commands that operate on the IX30's file system, such as the cp, ls, and mkdir commands,
see File system for information about the file system, including how to copy, move and delete files
and directories.
Use the scp command
The scp command uses Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) to transfer files between the IX30 device and a
remote host.
Required configuration items
n
The hostname or IP address of the remote host.
n
The username and password of the user on the remote host.
n
Whether the file is being copied to the IX30 device from a remote host, or to the remote host
from the IX30 device.

If the file is being copied to the IX30 device from a remote host:
o
The path and filename of the file on the remote host that will be copied to the IX30
device.
o
The location on the IX30 device where the file will be copied.
l
If the file is being copied to a remote host from the IX30 device:
o
The path and filename of the file on the IX30 device that will be copied to the remote
host.
o
The location on the remote host where the file will be copied.
Copy a file from a remote host to the IX30 device
To copy a file from a remote host to the IX30 device, use the scp command as follows:
