6.8 Replacing the LED Foil

WARNING!
To finish the task, the following step must be carried out in order to ensure error-free use.
n Carrying out the inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
1 Open the device (⇨ "Opening the Device", page 108).
LED foil
2 Remove LED foil.
3 Clean the surface of LED foil with isopropanol.
4 Attach the new LED foil on its place.
Installing LED foil
CAUTION!
Do not kink or bend the LED foil during installation.
5 Ensure that the LED foil is adhered in the correct position.
CAUTION!
The self-adhesive side of the LED foil has a total curing time of 24 h.
After a curing time of 20 min the adhering is firm enough (60% of total firmness) to continue the
installation.
6 Close the device (⇨ "Closing the Device", page 110).
7 Carry out a complete inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
u LED foil replaced.
u Inspection after repair has been carried out.
