7 Check the reverse polarity by turning the power plug through 180° and repeating the measurement.
(Check your universal test unit’s Instructions for Use to see if turning the power plug is necessary).
8 Enter the highest measured results into the service protocol.

3.5 Function Test
3.5.1 Mechanical Function Test
Guard
1 Press both unlocking devices [13] at the same time and fold the
guard up until it clicks into place.

▶ Guard can be folded up easily.
▶ Guard must click into place.
▶ Locked guard must not be able to be moved down.
2 Press the left unlocking device and fold the guard down until it clicks into place.
▶ Guard can be folded down easily.
▶ Guard must click into place.
▶ Locked guard must not be able to be moved up.
u Guard function - passed/failed.
Locking Mechanism for Disposable
n Place the HLS module in the holder and lock it (⇨ "Connecting the
HLS Module", page 33).

▶ HLS module must be able to be used easily and locked.
▶ Guide pins on the holder must be able to be inserted into the holes in the HLS module without
catching.
