Drive
1 Connect the HLS test circuit (⇨ "HLS Test Circuit", page 33).
2 Connect the external flow/bubble sensor
HLS test circuit connected
3 Turn the rotary knob to the right and set the speed to 5000 rpm.
RPM LED Foil
▶ During rotation, the LEDs of the RPM LED foil light up in intervals of two hundreds.
u RPM LED foil function - passed / failed.
4 At the same time, press the [Safety button] and the [Zero flow mode] (pump drive with 5000 rpm).
▶ [Zero flow mode] LED is lit.
▶ Pump drive regulates down until the flow is 0 l/min and is maintained there.
▶ LEDs on the RPM LED foil are extinguished consecutively, in accordance to the speed displayed on
the touchscreen.
u Activating the zero flow mode - passed/failed.
5 Press the [Zero flow mode] button.
▶ [Zero flow mode] LED goes out.
▶ Pump drive regulates back up to the formerly set value 5000 rpm.
▶ LEDs on the RPM LED foil light up in accordance to the speed displayed on the touchscreen.
u Deactivating the zero flow mode - passed/failed.
3.5.3 Venous Probe
TVen Measurement
1 Prepare the temperature measurement device for the test.
▶ Connect the temperature probe to the temperature measurement device.
▶ Switch on the temperature measurement device.
▶ Before testing check the functionality.
CAUTION!
Do not kink or bend the stainless steel sensor, as the temperature sensor is very sensitive.
