The CARDIOHELP must be serviced at regular intervals by trained and authorized MAQUET service
technicians.

Avoid safety risks.
To avoid safety risks, an inspection must be carried out after every service or repair and after opening the
device.
WARNING!
Make sure, that there are no loose parts, e.g., screws in the device to avoid safety risks.
CAUTION!
Document all service work.
All maintenance and installation results must be entered in the service protocol.
CAUTION!
Consider the abstract of screw torque (⇨ "Abstract of Screw Torque", page 13).
CAUTION!
Replace the sensor panel sealing each time the device is opened.

4.1 Cleaning the Rotary Knob

1 Disconnect the CARDIOHELP from the external power supply.
Replacement of rotary knob
2 Remove the rotary knob cover [1] carefully.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the rotary knob achieves no damage.
3 Hold the rotary knob [3] securely with your hand and open the hex nut [2].
4 Remove the rotary knob and clean the surface under the knob and the knob itself.
