7 Set the flow meter to 5 lpm with the flow clamp [A].
8 Read the LPM measured value from the touchscreen of the CARDIOHELP and enter it in the service
protocol.
9 Set the speed to 2500 rpm.
▶ External flow/bubble sensor measures the flow and displays it on the touchscreen of the
CARDIOHELP.
10 Using the flow clamp, set the flow measuring device [A] to 3.5 lpm.
11 Read the LPM measured value from the touchscreen of the CARDIOHELP and enter it in the service
protocol.
u LPM flow measurement - passed/failed.
3.6.2 Interventions
Bubble Detection
1 Connect the flow/bubble sensor to the air bubble tube.
2 Touch the [Bubble monitoring] symbol.

3 Touch the [RESET] symbol.
Alarm settings bubbles
4 Touch the [Interventions] symbol.
5 Touch the [Confirm] symbol.
6 Set the speed to 2500 rpm.
7 Check the display on the touchscreen.

▶ Red intervention symbol is displayed.
▶ A blue tick is displayed to indicate the external flow/bubble sensor.
▶ Speed display shows 2500 rpm.
8 Move the air bubble tube so that the ball in the tube flows through
the sensor.
