3.7.6 Ending the Service
1 Click on the [Close] button.
▶ The service tool software is closed.
Service interface activated
2 Disconnect the laptop from the CARDIOHELP.
3 Switch off the CARDIOHELP.
4 Switch on the CARDIOHELP.
▶ Self-test must be carried out successfully.
u PC-aided test is completed.
u Enter next service date in the CARDIOHELP.
3.8 Concluding Maintenance
3.8.1 Finishing
Renew Inspection Sticker
The inspection sticker must be renewed after every inspection.
1 Make a note of the next inspection date in the service protocol.
2 Make a note of the next inspection date on the inspection sticker and stick it on the CARDIOHELP.
Inform Customer
1 Inform customer.
u Replace the inspection sticker.
u Customer advised to keep the new service protocol until the next inspection.
u Customer advised to complete his medical devices book.
Add Additional Protocols
1 The following protocols must be enclosed to the service protocol after every maintenance work.
u “Attachment for service protocol” (Excel file) attached.
u Status report (PDF generated by the service tool software) attached.
3.8.2 Final Assessment
1 Assess the safety of the device.
2 Select one of the following points and fill in the corresponding check box in the service protocol.
u No safety or function defects detected.
u No direct risks, detected defects should be remedied quickly!
u Device must be taken out of operation until the faults have been rectified!
u Device does not meet the requirements – refitting / parts replace / shutdown is recommended!
