INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Make
no
dry assemblies. Lubri-
cate all bearings, shafts,
and
gears with Ultra-HPF
gearcase lubricant.
Press the bearings into the housings until the
tools are seated
on
the housing.

Install new aft bearing (small) from the forward
end
of the bearing housing. Use Bearing Installer,
PIN
339751. Position installer against the lettered
side of bearing.
Install new front bearing (large) from the forward
end of bearing housing. Use Bearing
Installer,
PIN
339751. Position installer against the lettered
side of bearing.

. Install new bearing

aft

of bearing housing.

installer against the lettered side of bearing. Press
the bearing into the housing
