5. Fax
You can search for a destination from a list on the LDAP server. There are two search
methods, as shown below.
• [Simple Search]: You can run a search with only one keyword as a user
name. You can only search for character strings included in usernames, and
not in e-mail addresses.
• [Advanced Search]: You select search conditions to search for items that
include all the specified keywords or any of the keywords. You can specify
user names or e-mail addresses as search keywords.
Up to 100 search results are displayed.
For details on setting the LDAP server, refer to "Setting the LDAP Server".

Press the (FAX) button on the operator panel.

Set a document in the ADF or on the document glass.

Press the button to select [Internet Fax] and press the button.

Check that [Add Destination] is selected, and then press the button.

Check that [To] is selected, and then press the button.
For [Cc] or [Bcc], press the or button to select [Cc] or [Bcc], and press the
button.

Press the or button to select [LDAP] and press the (OK) button.

Press the or button to select [Simple Search] or [Advanced Search],
and press the button.

Enter a keyword to search.

Select [Enter], and then press the (OK) button.

When the search results are displayed, press the or button to select
destinations, and then press the (OK) button.
The check box is selected.
You can select multiple destinations.

When you select all destinations needed, press the button.

Select [Complete], and then press the (OK) button.

Press the button to go back to the standby screen.
