6.15 History log
The history log is an area in the controller’s non-volatile memory that recordssnapshotsof the
system at moments when important events occur. The history log is important especially for
diagnostics of failures and problems. Its capacity is over 100 records and it works as FIFO, i.e. the
newest record overwrites the oldest one.
Each record has the same structure and contains:
The event which caused the record (e.g. Overspeed alarmor GCB closed”)
The date and time when it was recorded
All important data values like RPM, kW, voltages, etc. from the moment that the event
occurred.
