·Crank over the engine with the electric starter
(be sure the battery is fully charged) with the
throttle wide-open until the compression
reading on the gauge stabilizes.
NOTE:
When cranking the engine, ground the spark
plug lead to prevent sparking.
4. Install:
·spark plug
18 Nm-20Nm (1.8 m · kg, 13 ft · lb)
5. Lower the cargo bed.
CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface
2. Remove:
·driver seat
·passenger seat
·console
Refer to “SEATS” in chapter 5.
3. Check:
·engine oil level
Oil level should be between the maximum
① and minimum ② marks.
Oil level low
Add oil to the proper level.
NOTE:
Do not screw the dipstick ③ in when
checking the oil level.

Follow the left chart.
