Change Planetary Gear Oil
9. Check that "TOP" mark (3) on the planetary gear
housing comes top as shown. If not, move the
machine and adjust the position.
10. Make sure to turn ON the parking brake switch, lower
the attachment to the ground, and stop the engine.
11. Clean the vicinity of drain plug (5) and the oil drain
plug hole.
12. Arrange a container of 32.5 liters (8.6 gallons)
capacity or larger to receive the drained oil.
13. Remove drain plug (5) to drain oil.

NOTE: Plug (5) can be also used to drain oil, when
accessible.
14. Securely tighten drain plugs (5).
15. Refill the specified amount of oil through oil level
plug (4).
Supplied oil amount: 32.5 liters (8.6 gallons)/gear
IMPORTANT: It takes time for oil to fully lubricate the
overall front axle. After installing the plug, operate
the machine slowly for several minutes. Then, stop
the engine and check the axle for any oil leaks.
16. Check the oil level. (Refer to Check Axle Oil Level.)

NOTE: Total amount of supplied oil is 180 L (47.6 gal) per
axle assembly:
Differential: 115 liters (30.4 gallons)
Planetary gear: 32.5 liters (8.6 gallons) x 2
