3.5 Drive clutch cable (except H type)
NOTE: Before making any cable tension adjustements, always check that the cables are
corrected routed.
1. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap.
2. Measure clearance at the tip of the lever.
[1] Lever clearance (except TME type) 5 - 15 mm
[1] Lever clearance TME type 1-5mm
3. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the lock nuts and adjust as required.
Retighten the lock nuts securely.

1. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap.
2. Measure clearance at the tip of the lever with the button pushed down.

10-15mm 20-30mm
3. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the lock nuts and adjust as required.
Retighten the lock nuts securely.
