14.3 Transmission / Hydrostatic transmission (HRA536)
a. Removal / Installation
NOTE:
The transmission servicing can be done with the engine on the cutter housing.
1. Remove the two clips and remove the drive cover.

2. Slide off the pin clip and remove the joint pin, then disconnect the drive shaft from the
engine.

[4] JOINT PIN
3. Loosen the lock nuts and slacken the shift cable.
[5] LOCK NUTS
4. Remove the rear wheels (ch. 13.2a) and extract the hydrostatic drive, disengage the
end piece of the control arm shift cable.
5. Reassemble the transmission in reverse order to disassembly.
NOTE:
When reassembling the transmission, align the transmission guide screw using
the guide groove, as illustrated.
After reassembly, adjust the shift lever (ch. 3.7).
