3.9.3.2 Characteristics
3.9.4 Digital Output Electromechanical Relay (DC)
3.9.4.1 Functional Description
The Digital Output Electromechanical Relay (DO EMR DC) allows the
controller to switch DC signals to control alarms and other loads.
The two output terminals are “volt-free” contacts and require an external
power supply to drive a load.
The relay output contacts are effectively Single Pole Single Throw
(SPST) and are configurable through a jumper

to be either Normally
Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
FIGURE 3-33 illustrates the simplified block diagram of the DO EMR
DC connections.
