8. Perform the following:
a. Power off the system.
b. Install the AMD that was removed in step 6 on page 393 in the original
location.
c. Go to step 6b on page 393.
9. Replace processor backplane location MB1 symbolic FRU SYSBKPL.
This ends the procedure.
10. Perform the following:
a. Reinstall 1 of the cards that you removed in step 1 of this procedure in the
following order:
v M01
v M06
v M02
v M05
v M03
v M04
b. Reconnect the AC power cable to the unit that you are working on.
c. Power on the system.
Does a power reference code occur?
No Yes
↓ Exchange the last card that you reinstalled in this step.
11. Have you reconnected all the cards?
Yes No
↓ Repeat step 10 of this procedure reinstalling next card.
12. Replace processor backplane location MB1 symbolic FRU SYSBKPL.
This ends the procedure.

on page 387, before continuing with this procedure.
Note: Determine if the system has logical partitions. Go to “Determining if the
System Has Logical Partitions” on page 943, before continuing with this
procedure. If the system has logical partitions, perform this procedure only
from the Primary partition’s console and the system control panel.
