v External battery power unit 2 cable – part 86G7712
v External battery power unit 2 battery pack – part 86G7714
v 9309 general purpose I/O frame with SPCN (FC9171) – part 21F9380
v Base I/O Tower (5077), battery power unit – part 86G8040
v FC 5065/5066 or 5074/5079 expansion tower battery power unit – part
97H7318 (PN 97H7318 includes all four battery power units.)
v FC 5033, 5034, 5035 expansion tower, exchange both battery unit assemblies –
part 44H7785
This ends the procedure.
BKSPCN
An SPCN card may be failing. The SPCN card may be part of the AC Module in
some parts of the system. Perform the following to determine the part number:
1. Is the failing SPCN card in a system unit?
No Yes
↓ Models 840/SB3 (Non dual-linecord) – part 04N4552.
Models 840/SB3 (dual-linecord) – part 21P6806.
For location of the SPCN card refer to “Locations and Addresses” on
page 705.
This ends the procedure.
2. The failing SPCN card is in a secondary expansion unit or base I/O unit.
v For FC 5072 and 5082, the SPCN card is part of the ACMODUL. The part
number is 87G6300.
v For FC 5073, 5077, 5083, and 9251 Base I/O, the SPCN card is part of the
ACMODUL. The part number is 21H7697.

BSTWRPL
BSTWRPL: Base I/O tower PCI board.
The failing component is the Tower Card in an FC 9074 base I/O tower or an FC
9079 base I/O tower.
Identify the system model you are working on and exchange the Tower card with
the information in the table below:
