Blade Holder
1. Remove the blade holder (3). clutch spring retainer
(2) and clutch spring (1).

Drive Disk and Actuator A, B
1. Remove the drive disk (7) and actuator A (6) from
the actuator B (4).
2. Take out the three balls (5).
3. Pull out the three spring lock pins (l), and remove
the actuator B (4) and three set springs (2).
(When reassembling)
•
Be careful not to lose the balls.

Blade End Play
1. Turn the machine sideways with the muffler side
upward.
2. Bind the mower blade clutch lever to the handle
grip so that the mower blade clutch is engaged.
3. Moving the blade by hand, measure the blade end
play
at the top of the blade.
4: If the measurement exceeds the factory
specification, replace the drive disk.
Factory 3 mm or less
Blade end pray
spec 0.12 in. or less
