DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING
Draining Engine oil
1. Place an oil pan, and unscrew the oil level dipstick
and
drain plug.
2. Close the fuel filter cock.
3. Turn the machine sideways with the air cleaner
side upward, and drain engine oil.
(When reassembling)
Tightening

• IMPORTANT
• Use
the specified engine oil.
Refer to "LUBRICANTS AND FUEL".

Battery and Wiring Harness (-SCE,· TCE)
1. Remove the battery cover (7) and dismount the
battery (5).
2. Disconnect the wiring connector (1) from the
ignition coil.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector (4) from the
charging coil.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector (2) from the
starter.
5. Remove the wiring harness and battey support (3)
as a unit.

Throttle Cable and Mower Blade Clutch Cable
1. Unscrew the joint cover mounting screw, and
remove the joint cover (3).
2. Remove the mower blade clutch cable (1).
3. Loosen the retaining screw, and remove the
throttle cable (2).
