Piston and Connecting Rod
1. Turn the crankshaft to bring the piston to the top
dead center.
2. Pull out the piston (1) with the connecting rod (2).
(When reassembling)
• Before inserting the piston into the cylinder liner,
apply engine oil sufficiently to the inside surface
ofthe cylinder liner.
• Be sure to insert the piston into the cylinder liner
so that the casting mark "GH150V" (3) of the
connecting rod faces toward the blade.
• IMPORTANT
• When inserting the piston into the cylinder liner.
place the gap (8) of the top compression ring on
the opposite side of the intake and exhaust
valves. and stagger the gaps (A). (C) of the second
compression ring and oil ring making 2.09 rad.
(120°) from the gap of the top compression ring.
• Carefully insert the piston using a piston ring
compressor (4) (Code No. 07909-32111).
