DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING
Drive Clutch Cable, Swing Link and Joint
• IMPORTANT
• Before
removing the drive clutch cable (2), set the
drive clutch lever to "Engaged" position and
loosen the wheel mounting screw.
1. Unscrew the joint cover mounting screw, and
remove the joint cover (4) .
• NOTE
• Joint cover for -sec and -HTC cannot be removed.
2. Remove the drive clutch cable (2).
3. Unscrew the swing link mounting screw, and
remove the swing link (1).
4. Remove the external snap ring (5), and pull out the
pin (8).
5. Remove the joint (3) from the bevel pinion.
(When reassembling)
• The pins (7), (8) of the joint must always be in the
same plane. (See figure)
