Throttle Cable, Mower Blade Clutch Cable and Drive
Clutch Cable
1. Unscrew the joint cover mounting screw, and
remove the joint cover (4) .
• NOTE
• Joint cover for -SCC and -HTC cannot be removed.
2. Remove the mower blade clutch cable (2).
3. Loosen the retaining screw, and remove the
throttle cable (3).
4. Remove the drive clutch cable (1).
5. Disconnect the wiring connector (5) from the
starter switch (-SeE,-TeE).

Handle and Discharge Guard
1. Unscrew the handle lock grips (2), and remove the
handle (1). (Except -pee, -sec, -HTC)
2. Unscrew the lower handle retaining screw (7) and
handle stay (8) retaining nut (-pec, -sec, -HTC).
3. Unscrew the handle holder mounting bolt (5), and
remove the handle holder (6).
4. Remove the external snap ring, and tap out the
hinge shaft.
5. Remove the discharge guard (4) and return spring
(3).
(When reassembling)
