Cleaning and Readjusting Spark Plug
1. Remove the spark plug, and clean carbon from the
electrode with a wire brush.
2. Measure the spark plug gap with a feeler gauge.
3. If the measurement does not meet the factory
specifications, repair or replace the spark plug.
4. If the electrode or insulator is deformed or
cracked, replace the spark plug.
5. If the spark plug cap is defective, replace the plug
cap.

the spark plug, be sure to use a
resistor spark plug .
• When replacing
the spark plug cap, be sure to use
a resistor plug cap.
Cleaning Fuel Filter
(-PCC, -SCC, -HTC)
1. Close the fuel cock (4) and remove the clamp (6)
and fuel
filter (5).
2. Clean the fuel filter with solvent and check for
damage. If damaged, replace it .
• IMPORTANT
• Place the filter with its "MADE IN USA" face
toward the tank.

1. Empty the fuel tank (1) and remove the fuel cock
and
filter (2) from the fuel tank.
2. Clean the fuel filter with solvent and check for
damage. If damaged, replace it.
