Carburetor

Governor
lever
1.
Loosen
the
choke
rod
retaining
screw
(2),
and
remove
the
choke
rod
(3).

Remove
the
governor
spring
(1).
3.
Loosen
the
governor
lever
mounting
screw
(5),
and
remove
the
carburetor
(8)
with
the
governor
lever
(4).
4.
Remove
the
insulator
(6)
and
cover
(7).
(When
reassembling)
•
Install
the
insulator
as
shown
in
the
figure.
•
Replace
the
carburetor
gasket
with
a
new
one.
•
Replace
the
insulator
gasket
with
a
new
one.
•
Install
the
governor
spring
in
the
center
hole
on
the
governor
lever.
•
Pushing
the
throttle
valve
to
the
fully
open
position
with
the
governor
lever
(4),
turn
the
governor
lever
shaft
(9)
fully
clockwise
with
a
screwdriver
and
tighten
the
governor
lever
mounting
screw
(5)
in
that
position.
