Destruction of the digital outputs (X5/A1  X5/A4).
The digital outputs are not protected against external voltage.
Possible consequences:
ƒ Applying an external voltage to X5/A1  X5/A4 can damage the digital
outputs. The control card does not work correctly any longer.
Protective measures:
ƒ Never apply an external voltage to the terminals X5/A1  X5/A4.
After completing the installation, the following must be checked:
ƒ Wiring for completeness, short−circuit, and earth fault
ƒ Supply of the internal fan (only 500 V types)
the bridge position depends on the mains voltage applied
ƒ Power connection:
Supply via terminals L1, L2 and L3 (direct mains connection)
ƒ Motor connection in correct phase relation (direction of rotation)
ƒ Incremental encoder (direction of rotation), if any
Note!
The installation check is followed by commissioning. Further information can
be obtained from the System Manual for the drive controller.
ƒ Read the System Manual carefully before you switch on the controller!
ƒ Carry out the commissioning steps in accordance with the System Manual!
ƒ If you use the "safe standstill" function, check the function of the circuit!
