Reseat the CCD ribbon cable on the JCCD1 connector on the
controller board.
Does the problem remain?
Go to step 2. The problem is
solved.

Measure the voltage of pin 1 of the JFB1 connector on the controller
board.
Is the voltage equal to +24 V AC?
Go to step 3. Go to step 4.
Step 3
Replace the flatbed. See
“Flatbed removal” on page 435.
Does the problem remain?
Go to step 4. The problem is
solved.

Replace the controller board. See
“Controller board removal” on
page 409.

b Find the sensor (FB scanner home).
Does the sensor status change while toggling the sensor?

Reseat the home position cable on the JHS1 connector on the
controller board.
