If the signal is lost while applying pressure, optimize the phased array signal by
rotating the probe-axle (see “Optimizing the Phased Array Signal” on page 50).
5. While maintaining appropriate pressure on the RollerFORM, turn the vertical
adjustment knob counterclockwise until the middle wheel’s rollers come in
contact with the surface.
When inspecting a convex surface axially (longitudinally), both rollers of the middle
wheel, and also the rear roller, must be in contact with the surface (see Figure 4-6 on
page 57).

Both rollers of the middle wheel must be in contact with the convex surface, as well as the rear roller.
