The following table shows the labels and symbols that may be found on the Vivid S60N/Vivid S70N
ultrasound unit, and provides a description of each label’s purpose and location.

Warning: system shutdown using the On/ Off button does
not disconnect the ultrasound unit from mains voltage.
For disconnecting the ultrasound unit from mains voltage
after system shutdown, turn the Power ON/OFF switch on
the rear panel to the OFF position - refer to Figure 4-4 on
page 4-5.

floating applied part.

regulatory requirements of the European Directive 93/ 42/
EEC concerning medical devices.
It also complies with emission limits for a Group 1, Class B
Medical Device as stated in EN 60601-1-2
(IEC 60601-1-2).
