With the single-
processor control
(without Windows)
Hard disk test by means of soft keys:
With the NC software version 34049x-05 a simple hard disk test for the
single-processor control was installed.
8 Press the EMERGENCY STOP button.
8 Restart the control.
8 Switch to the Programming and Editing operating mode.
8 Press the MOD key.
8 Press the DIAGNOSIS soft key.
8 Press the CHECK THE FILE SYSTEM soft key. --> A new window opens:
8 Press the YES soft key. --> The file system of the PLC partition (hda5) and the TNC partition
(hda6) is checked and, if required, repaired automatically.
The result is transferred to the log.
8 Click OK or press the ENT key. --> The control reboots!
This test can be called if the NC software still boots completely.
This test does not check the SYS partition.
The SYS partition is checked each time the control is switched on.
