From the factory, this attribute is 1. After you set this attribute, it is saved in nonvolatile memory. That
setting is recalled the next time the instrument is powered up.
Example
ptp.slavepreferred = 1
print(ptp.slavepreferred)
Set the instrument to be a subordinate clock.
Check to see if the instrument is a
subordinate clock.
