1.1 Front drive switch
The front drive switch is used to select either the
two-wheel drive (2WD) mode that uses only the two
rear wheels as driving wheels or the four-wheel
drive (4WD) mode in which the engine power is
transmitted to all four wheels. Toggle this switch to
“ON” to select the 4WD mode; toggle it to “OFF” to
select the 2WD mode. The indicator lamp lights
up when the 4WD mode is selected.
CAUTION
Make sure that the free-wheeling hubs on both
the front wheels are in the “LOCK” position
when the 4WD mode is selected; in the “FREE”
position, the engine power is not transmitted to
the front wheels. P. 8- 5
