USB power delivery is available when the cable is connected to
the camera’s USB P
ower Delivery connector. The camera will not
draw power from devices connected via the USB data connector.
A USB power delivery icon appears in the shooting display and
the control p
anel when the camera is powered by an external
source.

Choose whether the camera draws power from devices connected via the USB Power Delivery
connector. USB power delivery allows the camera to be used while limiting the drain on the battery.

[ON]
The camera draws power from connected devices while on. Connected devices will also
supply power when the camera is o
ff if Bluetooth upload is in progress or the memory
card access lamp is lit.
[OFF] The camera does not draw power from connected devices at any time.
USB power delivery is available from:
computers with built-in Type C USB ports (requires a UC‑E25 USB cable, available separately),
optional EH‑7P charging AC adapters, and
optional EH‑8P AC adapters (requires a UC‑E25 USB cable, available separately).
Power will only be supplied to the camera when the battery is inserted.
